Tarheel Horsemans Association is a non profit association that coordinates horse shows for both members and guests. THA offers both day end awards and year end awards. Day end awards include High Point and Reserve High Point horse/rider combination for 3 age groups in both English and Western divisions. Year end awards are given in every class as well as overall High Point and Reserve High Point in each division.

The membership fee is $20.00 for a horse/rider combination or $10.00 for individual not showing. Day end awards do not require membership, but to be eligible for year end awards, you must be a member and show in at least half of the season’s shows.

Tarheel Horsemen’s Association is a non profit organization providing several horse shows for competitors of all ages in Hunt Seat, Saddleseat, and Western Pleasure disciplines. Our shows are held in several locations throughout Onslow, Carteret and surrounding counties. Our organization is managed totally by volunteers. The organization sponsors many of the shows through club member volunteers, this allows for all profits to be added to the year end award fund. Barns and private organizations are encouraged to host a THA show.
