After much discussion, it has been decided to postpone the show for June 27th. Those of you at the last show (June 13th) should appreciate this decision. The heat/humidity was miserable. We have added some info on the News and Events page regarding heat/humidity and riding, very informative.

We would like to plan a big finale for our last show of the season. This would be double judged but entry fee would only be $5.00 per judge($10.00 per class). (This would be the make up show for June 27th). We are discussing an overall high point horse award(more than 1 rider ok) additional money added to our 2 payback classes, a costume class with awards for originality, best tolerated by horse, youngest competitor, etc. We may come up with some additional raffles/give aways. We are also thinking of a pig picking from 12:00 to 13:30 priced by the plate.

The Purpose of Tarheel Horsemans Association INC

The purpose of the Tarheel Horsemans Association is to stimulate and promote equine exhibition with good spirit and good sportsmanship. The Tarheel Horsemans Association operates in accordance with AQHA Rules, Tarheel Horseman's Association, Inc. Bylaws and Rules and Regulations. Robert's Rules of Order will be our guide to Parliamentary Procedure at all meetings.

We encourage input from our members to help improve the quality of the Tarheel Horsemans Association and our shows. Remember, you don't have to own or show a horse to become a member. We are looking for people with a love for equine exhibition. Come Join Us!
